Gauge O Group Club Meet

It appears this weekend is the time for O scale modelers to get together to share the enjoyment of the hobby,  with the 70th Anniversary of the Guild bash at Guildex.  I hope everyone has a great time,  wish I could be there.

In my own small way,  I'l be spending the long weekend running trains and working on some projects for the BBR.   In addition,  the Windrush Gauge O Group  (WGOG) is meeting again as the weather is still very pleasant.  Looks like one of the members brought along some Scottish trains !

Train of the week #6

 This week the little independent light railway's ex-Midland Railway 1F 0-6-0T half cab locomotive "Hilda" heads up the branch with the daily goods. The locomotive is kit built, traditional worm gear arrangement giving good performance. The wagons a mix of various kits like Peco / Parkside / Slaters and a scratchbuilt GWR fruit van.
